This site and the wonderful people here have been my salvation! I can say whole-heartedly that I do not believe that I would have made it this far without the help and support of all of you wonderful people (and several who do not check in here regularly). I love you all - I don't always agree with everything you say - but I love you anyway!
With that said, I could not have made it this far without me! It would not have worked if I had not made up my mind that I would not smoke - not matter what! Now I have not been through many rough times this past 1-1/2 plus like some of you, but I have encountered some days that I thought, "What the Hell?" But I own this quit - and no one can give it to me or take it away from me - it is mine!
We, as elders and newbies, who dedicate so much time here to help others in their quest to quit, cannot quit for you - it would be so simple if we could. We will be here for you giving out our best advise and supporting you with all our heart. But in the end -- This is your quit - own it!
