Quad Squad Goals

Today I am celebrating my 1000th day of freedom from nicotine and I have one goal, to hang onto this quit eternally! That is it.

This website and all of you wonderful people who use it have been instrumental in helping me get to this point.  Anytime I have an addictive thought I know that I can come here and use the daily pledge or write a blog post and my support network (you guys) will be there for me to lean against and gather strength from... It really amazes me how much I have learned here and how lucky I am to have finally let it sink into my brain... smoking never helped me in any way, shape, or form and it never, ever will.  Once I finally realized that, this quitting thing got a lot easier.  So if you are struggling with tough craves or addictive thoughts, thinking that smoking is the answer to any problem you are having today, let me tell you, that is a lie and you need to hang onto the fact that quitting smoking is part of the solution to negative emotions in your life.  That black cloud will continue to lift as long as you hang onto your quit freedom.  As Scarlet O'Hara said, "tomorrow is another day," and that is what it takes to walk this path, hold onto your freedom no matter what, one day at a time, use whatever platitude or saying that helps you the most, just promise yourself that you will not smoke and keep that promise day by day.

That is what I've done and what I am going to continue to do, by whatever means necessary! I am sending every single one of you love and light.  I wish you an easy, peaceful journey to your health and happiness.

Remember that you are important and you are worth the effort to remain free. Love and appreciate yourself because you are God manifested into this world.♥

Many blessings to all,

Cory
