Needless to say, I was anxious about the site being down. More so than normal because of the new group that was started. I also could not help but think of the first time newbies that may have gotten discouraged from the site because of it. A very odd thing happened and is still happening with my computer.
My computer defaults to Google Chrome as the browser But I prefer to use Internet Explorer as I do use a lot of the times when doing searches. I have saved an icon of this site on my desktop so I could just click on it and the site comes up.
The site was down, I kept clicking my icon all day, site still down, went to bed , up this morning, site still down. Any icon on my desktop defaults to Google Chrome, so I thought to open up Internet Explorwer and search "becomeanex.org". GREAT... The site came up and working fine
I decided to delete my old desltop icon (figuring the address it was directing me to had changed) I saved the working page to my desktop (From I.E.) Of course it will open with Google Chrome ......BUT IT DID NOT. I got the same "Site is Down" page.
I'm not sure what kind of bug I got but currently I can only access the site through IInternet Explorer. I'll clean my cookies and figure it out later. I'm just glad to have acess again.
