2 year anniversary!

While this site has been down, I had my 2 year anniversary. During those 2 years, I have had about 1000 dreams of smoking, but never smoked, N.O.P.E. Im just realizing how much smoking controlled my life. I dreaded going to visit anyone because I would immediately start thinking about when I could leave so I could smoke. I just wanted to stay home where it ws safe and there was no shame. Im still slowly overcoming all that, I smoked for over 40 years, so I guess it will take time to get used to being free. Well, I am taking college classes now, online. In 3 1/2 yrs I will be a minister. I dont want to preach to anyone. I want to help dialysis patients and go in the hospital and sit with family membes who have a loved one in surgery, things like that, a Chaplain. God has been trying to get me here for all my life ,but those smokes held me back. Now I work at school still, on my off days I work in dialysis still, and when someone needs me, Im happy to be there, without hesitating because of smoking break fear. So I just want ted to let all you new guys know what a lifechanging difference your quit will make in your life. Your life is just beginning. God bless you all in your quits and to all my old friends here, who made my quit successful, I owe a debt of gratitude I will never be able to repay. I love you all very much, and will be here forever to help those following in our footsteps. Your friend always, Mary
