Positive Upbeat and Smokefree

Good morning all. This morning as I'm getting ready to head off to work I'm reminding myself of all the positive things that I'm gaining from removing ciggerettes from my life. Yesterday for some odd reason It was difficult. It was day 19 and you'd think the worst of it would be over. My daughter came over and walked with me. I didnt tell her I was struggling but as we talked I began to feel better. She said things like "your so strong and Im so proud of you". I think God sent the little reminder and support that I needed. This isnt an easy thing to do, if it was more people would just do it. My mother always said nothing worth having comes easy and she was right. A healthy smokefree lifestyle is so worth the struggles I'm still having. Its hard to change 30 plus years of habit and addiction.

I have my list in hand reminding me of all the reasons I'm doing this such as my health and the smell but most of all I dont like anything having control over me and it sure did, past tense.

I pray that each of you struggling with this addiction find your angel and stay strong for just one more hour, day, week, year then finally your forever quit. Have a great day all.
