Share your quitting journey
I hope you are all doing well on this breezy Monday morning. I have had some cravings lately and have dreamt about smoking but I am hanging in there and staying true to my quit. I have been working out a couple days a week and that helps. Once I exercise I don't think at all about smoking. It happens only frequently, so that is good. Especially since I live in a house with heavy smokers; i should put a revolving door in for them.
My sister is trying her quit again using chantix. She has already made many excuses so I don't think she will make it. Someone told her she could smoke while taking Chantix so she says I had puff of one each day. I told her she was doing more harm than good but she doesn't think so. I don't want to preach to anyone, i still have a long road ahead. I also fear my son has started smoking again but when i asked he said he wasn't. His car reeked of smoke and I know all his friends smoke but i don't think they are the only ones. I am really disappointed and stressed with that because he was doing so well. He was my other support but I can't let it affect me. I know I can work through this.
I still come to this site 5 days a week but I dont post a lot. I do the pledges a couple of days but sometimes my computer is so slow I give up and close out the program.
I hope you all enjoy a beautiful smoke free week.
