Moments that make life very real indeed !

While I was away a friend passed away .

Donna was the heart and soul of our community and neighbourhood , her  family trades in our market for the past 35 years.

She started working at her fathers stall when she was a teenager and eventually took over, she had an eye for tulips and dahlias and you couldn't find more affordable flowers and plants in London!

She was my favourite florist, she saw my children grow up from babies to teenagers , she sold me flowers every week while we had out weekly chitchat about anything and everything .

Tomorrow the funeral cortège will pass along our neighbourhood and the street she worked , to the the ST Dominic's church for a midday service .

I am still in shock, simply can't believe she is not with us anymore and at such a young age , only 47.

I wish I was here to see her one last time but that's gone now , I have been really sad these few days, something about death that really shakes one's foundation and kind of brings us back to reality and the whole life and death issue and how we don't know what's round the corner.

At least she didn't suffer, a heart attack I was told, she was a wonderful lady and I will really miss her!

Tomorrow will be a somber day, goodbyes are never easy.

Rest in peace beautiful angel x

Thank you for your support and wish you all the best 🙂
