Hi!  I just joined the group and I'm trying to find my way around and get acquainted.  I have been smoking for 39 years, with about a zillion quits all throughout - the longest one lasted for 7 years, but that was a real anomaly.  The second longest one was for 9 months.  Usually they go for a couple of weeks.  My lungs are starting to suffer and I can feel discomfort in my chest and back that has me worried.  I LOVE the taste and smell of tobacco smoke, and have smoked it in every form imaginable.  Currently I am smoking American Spirits.  My last attempted quit was the Scopolamine shot with follow up pills.  The first time I did that I lasted 29 days, and then had a big bout of rebellion and hurt feelings throw me off course.  Got another one 3 days later, and the very next day a major, life-altering event happened, and BAM I JUMPED off the wagon with both feet.  The longest I have managed to go since then (that was June 1st) has been about 20 hours.  I really really really want to do this somehow if I can.
