A Test-But I Passed

I love the sun and water and summertime in general.  I went to the apartment pool this afternoon and ran into a lady that I met there last summer.  At that time, we both smoked.  She is still smoking.  I talked to her and another guy that we know and told them that I quit.  It wasnt 15 minutes later that she handed me a lit cigarette and asked me to hold it.  I took it and joked, "hey, you are handing a lit cigarette to a recovering nicotine addict?"  I actually looked at it and was not tempted at all to take a puff!  How rude can smokers be?  The guy talking with us also commented on how inappropriate it was. But, I passed the test!!!!!!

I am a 63 year old single woman. I quit smoking at 55 and my only regret is that I did not quit sooner. Freedom from cigarettes is truly a wonderful feeling!
