Hello EX family, I hope you are all well and in good spirits, enjoying your summer wherever you are .
I'm already on holiday, visiting my parents and family , the journey up here wasn't an easy one, we had to stop few times cause I wasn't feeling very well, the longest stop was in Germany where I stayed a night in hospital and the doctors ran some tests to establish the cause of my breathlessness .
In their opinion it has nothing to do with the lungs because apparently my lung function is 90% even though they could see signs of long term smoking but they said if the cessation continues they believe that no further damage will occur !
However they were not very sure about the heart, as further tests need to be done-they believe that chest pain and breathlessness comes from either 'coronary spasm or obstruction' , but to establish this I need further testing!
They did give me some medications to try and see if they will be of any help, so far everything is ok!
To be honest with you I'm not sure if I'm just taking them for no reason as since I'm here I did not have breathlessness episode yet!!
I know that I was really bad on my way here-and I hope that it was only anxiety and panic and nothing else, hoping for the best outcome.
I am trying to enjoy the days near my family, the time is going very quickly and it's a reminder of how much I miss them when I'm in London.
The city hasn't changed regarding smoking, here majority of ppl smoke , more so the young, I think everywhere in the 'Balkan region' smoking is a big problem, ppl here are very addicted to the poison called cigarette and it breaks my heart plain and simple-It is impossible to sit and have a coffee or drink without being surrounded by smoke -the no smoking signs are not followed, the law is simply not implemented-it only exists !!
I can only imagine how many life's will the poison destroy slowly slowly ....
