My daughter got up before 6 this morning (normal for a school day).....went to school all day....then took her bus to the track meet....45 min's away.....and is just NOW on her way home....Thank god it's not a school nite!!!
My husband & I were about to run errands after work today, when we received a text from my daughter saying to please come to the meet so she doesn't have to take the bus home (we are usually at ALL meets)....these errands had to be done, so we split up and my husband drove to her meet while I did the errands....
All I can say is (and I do feel guilty as I say it...BUT) Thank God, it wasn't me who went to the track meet....holy crap, who would have known that it would have lasted this long....
I hear she did real good....thankful for that, because otherwise this tough day would have been super tough on the kid....
Each day is a mystery.....not necessarily a day as "planned".....I also think each day presents the opportunity to experience something new or old as a nonsmoker.....which then provides strength to our quits....making them more solid.....
