Hello all! Not sure how many people will see this, as I'm still getting the hang of this site. Anyways, just thought I'd utilize everything this site has to offer, so I can maybe finally break the habit.

I've tried to quit smoking probably close to a million times now. I'm only 19 years old, but I've been a smoker for around 5 or 6 years now. After moving into our own apartment in November of 2013, my girlfriend and I had found ourselves smoking constantly. Two packs a day was not uncommon for us, and sometimes we found ourselves chain smoking out of pure boredom. Although we've cut back  to a pack a day, quitting still seems like an impossibility. I've set quit dates before and I can usually handle the first couple days if I'm ready for it. However, my girlfriend and our other roommate haven't been so strong willed. The last three or four times I've attempted to quit smoking, I often came home to them sitting on the front steps smoking a cigarette. Now, I know that nobody forces me to smoke, but having cigarettes so easiliy attainable and right in front of me like that definitely doesn't help my cause. What is a good way to deal with it?

Anyways, I'm starting my summer roofing job in a week or two, (depending on the weather) and I don't want to be the only guy on the crew who smokes. So I reset my quit date to May 1st. I'm definitely ready to kick the habit this time. Thank you for reading this!
