I agree with Legend and Younatheart. You're commitment is to stop smoking and if someone can't or wonn't help you should not expose yourself to them. Get back on that horse  keep on...

Got a call a few minutes ago asking me to come into work early because my boss is not going to be there.  I said I would do the "best" I can and I WILL but you cannot call a person with Rheumatoid Arthritis five minutes after they wake up and expect that they can move any faster than the tin man in the Wizard of Oz.  I shall oil my joints and do my best but I will also mention the idea that they could have called me an hour earlier and I would have BEEN there an hour earlier.  Just venting.  The good thing is that the day is likely to improve from here on in.  Happy beginning of the week fellow Ex'ers.

Good for you! You keep your sense of hummer in what I would call a stressful situation.

Have a Great Day!

GREAT way to deal with it!  And, just think how much later you would also have been if you had to take all those smoke breaks while getting ready!

I KNOW your day will get better!

I made it...what a crazy day, busy from the second I walked in which is fine, I would rather be busy and the idea that I did not need smoke breaks was really something to be grateful for.  A student came in and smelled so strongly of smoke that I am pretty sure I recoiled. One of my coworkers who was actually annoying the Hell out of me asked me if I was okay and I said that I was, but I was really struggling with pain, she said that I seemed a little "angry." How astute of her.  I was about ready to pull my hair out.  All in all, it was a decent day and tomorrow will be a brand new one.  I shall grease myself up before I go to bed tonight and I will go to bed earlier so morning won't come as a surprise tomorrow.  Hope everyone has a great evening!

Good going, Elvan! Glad you made it through the day without hurting yourself or someone else! :)

Maybe you need to drop by oldbones' blog about Nic O Demon....he's handing out bats and clubs to beat up old Nic O Demon!
