It's Been One Year

Well, today is my one year anniversary on my quit!  I can't even tell anyone just how happy I am that I made the commitment to quit smoking.  Yes, I had some really rough days, but thanks to Dale, Teddy, and Thomas, and numerous others, I made it!  I never thought I would get to one year, but just kept telling myself out loud (whenever I got an urge) "No!  I don't smoke any more!".  Yes, it was quite a journey with plenty of uneasy times along with a quite a few tears.

I plan on staying with my quit, because I love FREEDOM more than a nasty cigarette!  Just make sure that you educate yourself on this addiction, listen to the elders on this site, keep cigarettes away from your face, and just do some type of distraction to not think about cigarettes.  Before you know it you will look back as I have and wonder what we actually saw in those nasty things.  Never be afraid to come in here and blog or ask for help.  Someone will help you.

Thanks to all for everything that you have said during my journey.  I am forever grateful!
