Good Morning Exers!!! Needless to say, I'm all EXcited and fired-up about tonights BON FIRE!!!! Let's make this one an inferno people!!!!! If you haven't been to one yet, here is an EXcerpt from our chief, (*wink@ Tommy) Tommy's blog yesterday in which he explained it so EXpertly:
"Tomorrow we will be having a HUGE bonfire that will be held at MistyDawns Blog! If you have never been to one of our bonfires, you should start getting EXcited about it now! Everyone shows up! There is food, and beverage, and music, and much jocularity! I am assured that the full resources of Freedom Train Inc. will be standing by to assist with transportation needs. That will include the Freedom Limo in case Giulia (or anyone else) should need a ride home! Everyone should calculate how many cigarettes we have not smoked since our quits began! Take the number of cigarettes you smoked per day and multiply by the number of day you have been quit! EXAMPLE: A pack a day for 100 Days would be 20 in a pack X 100 days. 20X100= 2,000! That is how many cigatettes you are contributing to the fire" Hope to see you all there!!!!
O.K.....now on to some very special milestones. Star, oh Star......can you hear the train on the track? It's headed for you girl. Brush those brand new white pearly whites, fix that beautiful smile on your lips, put on a pretty little dress to match that smaller figure, and beautiful nails, and jump up on the train, for it has arrived to pick you up on day 101 of your marvelous quit!!!!!! Congratulations on induction to the triple digit club Star!!! Your bright outlook is a breath of fresh air, and you say that you would like to stick around here for awhile. Well, we hope that's true, because your positive attitude would certainly be missed if you left. Congrats Star!!!!
Mommaof2 enjoys watching her kids enjoy their lives. How cool is that? I'll tell you how cool that is....it's as cool as celebrating her 500 days of smoke-free life with her today. Hope up on this special train Momma, it's here for you on your special day.
Next we will swing on up to Maryland and collect Bonnie. Bonnie is an elder here, an EXpert with 900 days!!!!! and a positive attitude. She's a happy quitter as well as a straight-forward, no nonsense supporter of N.O.P.E., so if you ever fall into your pity party (which most of us do from time to time), you won't need to look far, Bonnie will be there to pull your butt right out with her words of wisdom, and warm heart. Bonnie....you have helped me, and so many others here. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the time and patience you put into our community. Congrats girl!!!
Our last stop is in north western PA where Jim Taddeo should be waiting at the platform. Come on Jim!!! This train is barreling down the track headed your way. You are our special guest today (you get to sit up front with me *wink), on this Sat. Freedom Train with a whopping 1400 days smoke-free. WhOO hOO for Mr. Taddeo - hey one could make that ryhme if you really wanted it to. Again, like Bonnie, Jim is a realist that makes no bones of N.O.P.E. Come on Jim, I'll let you take the controls later as this train ends at the BON FIRE tonight. Let's have a full, rockin train arrive at Misty Dawn's tonight for the bonfire!!! WhOO Hoo!!!!
