Day 3, what a real triump!

I am so glad that day 3 is gone and I am in a new day!  I didn't think I was gonna make it through.  My husband was in a lot of pain from a procedure that he had done.  I wanted to smoke at every turn yesterday.  My daughter said I need to go do something and left the grand kids, 1 and 3.  My grand daughter has just got out of her terrible twos but is so full of energy and my grand son has been crawling for a while and is learning to climb up on everything.  Last night he learned how to hit his little sister and tell her no as he was dumping the cats water on the floor and then he was trying to clean it up.  I thought my daughter would be back in less than an hour, no it was 4 hours and I was about to run from my life in utter terror.  No one was happy at my house especially not me.  I thought I needed that cigarette from the moment I woke up yesterday, just couldn't get rid of the craving no matter what I did.  I was really stressed out and knew I needed the whole evening to read and stay connected so I would not smoke but it didn't work out that way.  I didn't get the evening to read but I made it anyway!    I DON'T KNOW HOW BUT I MADE IT ANYWAY!  I DIDN'T SMOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    Today I'm not as bad but I am having bad cravings!  I have read lots of things today and I need to go out with my family for a visit to see my niece an hour away but  I am staying positive that I will make it today!  I need to make it today!

I was on the Ex community for a couple of years and got extremely busy and was unable to get on the community. I came back to see how others were doing and missed being here. I'm married, I have 3 grown children, 4 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and 1 on the way, and 3 soon to be step grand sons. I love to go to church and love to read my bible.
