Hi Guys,

Well I got back from Cleveland yesterday afternoon late. It was quite taxing for me with the pet scan and bronchoscopy all the same day . And it wasn't an actual bronch cause they didn't do the biopsy they did a lung wash. But I made it through. I was kinda nauseas from the meds I got before the bronch so I went back to my room and just slept it off.............. LITERALLY!! lol I slept right straight through the night to the next morning. heeheeheehee

Day 2.......... I had my bloodwork, chest x-ray, pulmonary function tests, and I met with my pulmonologist who is my Florence Nightengale . She told me to go home, and pack a bag and she was presenting me to the board on Monday to be listed.
I said , "For real this time?"
She said, "For real, we have everything we need and I'll be calling you around noontime."
I said, " I'll be sitting on the phone."
She said, "I know" and she just smiled.
I cried and she hugged me. What words can you possibly use to express how totally thankful, greatful, and appreciative you are? There were no words good enough all I could say was thank you. I cry sitting here typing this to you now.

What a weight that was that was lifted off my shoulders. I know people die waiting for their organs, ( my brother in law did) but that isn't going to be me! I am getting my lungs and God willing I'm going to live 20 years more! Praise his blessed name!

So much to do here so I will keep you posted. I have a bag to pack................

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh forgot to tell you my oldest son Scott went with me this last time to sorta get his feet wet and see what it was like as he has agreed to be my support person along side his dad.

Hugs and love,
Carole
