Give and get support around quitting

My Journey of Qutting

Hey, I am new to all of this, and I am 15 years old. I am adopted and unfortunately, my birth parents are addicts, and I am also going through the same struggle. I am dealing with a lot of things right now, and I have anxiety and depression. That's why I have turned to drugs, and I started using them when I was only 13 years old. I know that many of you may have gone through this, and it's really hard to turn away from something that has become a part of your life. However, I want to quit nicotine and weed, and I need your help to do it. I am really grateful that I have a loving family and supportive friends who are there for me.

I am thrilled you are choosing sobriety.  I encourage you to read all you can about sobriety and addictions.  About why we use drugs and nicotine to numb our feelings and thoughts.  You are very wise, in your young years.
