My Dr. gave me a prescription for Advair and sent me on the way - his duty to my "self-inflicted illness" completed!
Well, lucky for me, I have an inquisitive mind!
I got on the internet (and basically never really got off it! LOL!)
Here's the most recent article I want to share with info that my Dr. didn't see fit to tell me:

I have spent an amazing amount of time educating myself, mostly thanks to you for giving me the links. Thank you so much, I remember asking my pulmonologist what I could do for myself for pulmonary rehabilitation and she said "Play a harmonica" and "Blow bubbles." I did both, not sure either one helped at ALL but I did them. I also, thanks to you, really took a look at my diet and increased my regular exercising. There is really nothing more that I can do other than to be aware of the signs of an exacerbation since they seem to be subtle some times.
I know all about exaserbation, I got my education twice in the hospital. My doctor at the time took plenty of time to tell me about COPD but the exaserbation came as a big surprise,, a big scary surprise! Thanks for sharing Thomas, that was a good article.
Thank God iquisitive minds needs to know and our health does belong to us!
