Let's Get Moving Part 3

Jump to solution

'The original idea was to "get moving" at least 4 times a week, staying accountable to each other.  Post your accomplishments in the comments. This is the original blog link if you would like to clarify the guidelines

Let's Get Moving Challenge - EX Community.   Any activity counts, as long as you get off your butt and get your heart pumping.  Who knows, maybe we'll lose a little weight or a couple of inches in the meantime.  I hope placing it in discussions this time will work better than a blog post where there were so many entries and becomes harder to locate.  Let's see if we can keep it on the board often and easy to find.

I believe we got sidetracked when I suggested doing other challenges and those challenges were not conducive to everyone. My fault. Lesson learned.  So I am hoping we can get back to doing what "you" do instead of a specific routine.  Got it?.   In the previous post, there were a lot of comments to go through to come up with this list of who participated.  Hopefully, it will catch on again.  Of course, sometimes we got off topic which can happen.  This post really kept me motivated and we had a lot of fun while learning a lot from each other with over 2519 comments on the first blog and 1072 Let's Get Moving 2018 - EX Community  on second blog comments. So let's Get Moving Part 3!

@YoungAtHeart - monarch on milkweed ❤️

Today was sunny and in the 60's so I got a really nice neighborhood walk in. Also did some good and much-needed housework and spent a bit of time with Doris on her back deck. Happy to report that I am making headway on my ant infestation-- the use of cornmeal to lure them into gastric distress and death seems to be working. Did have to stop leaving out dry food for Mr. Flurry which is confusing him, though. Luckily his major feed is wet food which is down just long enough for him to gobble it up.

@Maki ! My DIL shares her bulbs every spring when she digs up and separates them before re-planting. I meant to get some of her tiger lilies this year, but time slipped by, and I never made it out there 😞   Your U-tube zoomba sounds like fun!  @biscuit9 ~ Thanks for the cute meme! Gave me a chuckle~

Lily of the Vally: To me, they remind me of tiny bells. My MIL had them along the northside of her house so just thinking of them bring fond memories, She was a fantastic lady.

@Cousin-Itt  and @YoungAtHeart - thanks for my introduction to a zebra butterfly: had never seen one before! We have a butterfly house at our local zoo and I always love going in there- such delicate and endearing creatures!

Hello to the rest of you movers whom I have not 'bumped into" tonight-- hoping your day went well and that you -- and the rest of you guys-- have a good night's sleep!

I guess my hips will decide if it's walking or yard work today.  Forecasting showers.  Hope they hold off awhile.

Good to "see" most and better still to hear everyone is moving as they can.
