Anonymous - "not applicable?"

Jump to solution

I see that a regular member here is no longer listed, but their posts are still extant.  Though their PMs have been deleted and no longer exist.  Instead of their user name it says Anonymous and instead of the usuaal "member" the membership reads "not applicable."  I assume that means they have cancelled their membership and left the site?   Does one have to delete their PMs one by one, or does that just happen automatically when they leave the site?

Hello @Giulia you are correct. Usually, a member who decides not to participate will usually just not log in anymore. In this instance, the member requested that the profile be closed, which means that the username goes entirely away and that all posts by that individual in the community revert to "Anonymous." The process was automatic.
