Daily Pledge, Bonfires and Quit Celebrations: Traditions born from the members
Hello,
October is upon us! Soon we will be having frosty weather, some looking forward to it some not. Remember no matter what N.O.P.E. There is never a good reason/excuse to smoke! Stay strong, come here and make your daily pledge not to smoke!
I want to thank Cindy for all of her help and her 30-day challenge during September and all of you loyal pledgers for keeping you, me and many others lifted up and strong in our quits! Our most successful month in my 452 days! Stay Free xo ~Terrie~

National Boss Day
Boss's Day is generally observed on or around October 16 in the United States, Canada and Lithuania and India. It has traditionally been a day for employees to thank their bosses for being kind and fair throughout the year. This day was created for the purpose of strengthening the bond between employer and employee.
Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, attending Halloween costume parties, decorating, carving pumpkins into jack-o'-lanterns, lighting bonfires, apple bobbing and divination games, playing pranks, visiting haunted attractions, telling scary stories and watching horror films. In many parts of the world, the Christian religious observances of All Hallows' Eve, including attending church services and lighting candles on the graves of the dead, remain popular,[20][21][22] although elsewhere it is a more commercial and secular celebration.[23][24][25] Some Christians historically abstained from meat on All Hallows' Eve,[26][27] a tradition reflected in the eating of certain foods on this vigil day, including apples, potato pancakes, and soul cakes.
