Before our mid-Atlantic blizzard with 30" of snow and howling winds, what we are getting here today would have been called a SNOWSTORM with lines at the grocery stores and hardware stores preparing for the worst.  After Jonas, this is "just a little snow."

So, too, the first months of our quits.  They feel like they last FOREVER, but comparing those times a little ways out, they were just a short moment in the scheme of our lives.  If you are newly quit, you WILL look back on the early days as but a blip compared to the years of wonderful freedom you will gain.

Hang in there!  You WILL look back on this time as but a short investment in a wonderful future!

I smoked until a vascular surgeon informed me of the damage I had done to myself by doing so. I quit 11 years ago, and I can swim laps virtually FOREVER now, walk most other days 40 minutes to an hour and a half. What a difference quitting has made in my life! I strive to help others find this wonderful freedom from addiction, too.
