Road Trip

I took a little road trip this afternoon to a casino about an hour from where I live.  I go on a little gambling trip about twice a year.  I avoided it when I first quit - even though I don't drink on these little trips because I don't drink and drive, I knew that it would more than likely be a trigger for me  I am truly amazed (I am a people watcher), at the number of people playing slots and chain smoking!  I am even more amazed that I used to be just like them - lol!  Even though I didn't win at the slots - I came home a winner!  I was not even tempted to smoke!  Give it time folks - you can get to a comfortable place in your quit too!

I am a 63 year old single woman. I quit smoking at 55 and my only regret is that I did not quit sooner. Freedom from cigarettes is truly a wonderful feeling!
