It's hard to find a real hero these days. People are worshipping pro athletes that are little more than thugs, Movie stars worshipped till they think they are a god. More bad examples are looked up to than good ones can be found. But we have one in our midst.

As I was making the real decision to quit back in 2004, one of my reasons was anger. No not road rage or the anger from being wronged, but a self inflicted anger. I was so angry at myself for smoking for so long. I was angry at myself for allowing my selfish pleasure to take the place of my loved ones. September 30th 2004. I was wheezin & gaspin & rattlin in my chest. I could hardly mow the lawn & I couldn't keep up with my 5 year old. We had applied for another adopted girl from China & just recieved notification along with photos & health history of a beautiful litle girl named Yu Tao. All I could think about at the time was a 15 hour flight to get her. I remembered 5 years before & what a hard time I had on the trip to get Lulu. I did not want to face that again.…

1. I am not rooting for the Vols against Georgia, I hope the dogs come back like the Vols did last year!
2. Thanks for the running the table comment...we both hat Alabama, Auburn, and Florida historically, and for good reason.
3. If we are lucky, maybe Vandy will beat Florida also, but not Georgia!
4. And Finally, it was so weird when the OILERS moved up here from Texas. I was a Denver, and KC fan before they came here, and I went out to practice, and watched a couple of their games at Vandy's field, and I was hooked!
5. A good Pro team will usually win the Super Bowl because they do the basics well... and that is what the SEC is all about.
6. That is what you and I love about football, and
