Fallen..

Ive fallen down...My goal of going my whole shift without a smoke..has had a fender bender...I lasted till my last break...Im soo mad at myself...That i didnt try enough or........... I log on to becomeanex.org as soon as i walk in the door.. to chart my smoking...I was down to 2 a day... one at 10 o clock and one at 7 o clock... I cant say how much better i felt .. when I read and re-read all the positive and wonderful words and comments from my friends on here..Y'all make everything soo much b…

I worked all night without a single smoke..Im soo happy and proud of my self..I work over-night at wal-mart as a grocery stocker..It sucks ,but it is paying for school and helping with the bills. Originally I was tackleing the obsticale of not smokeing any on my breaks...I have a break the first 2 hours then lunch 2 hours later then break 2 hours then 2 hours I go home.. Its alll 2 , man ... Ok Im going to push myself again.. see how far i go with out a smoke.. i noticed I sleep alot when I dont have a smoke...cause when i do smoke it wakes me up...I sleep alot with out one.. I just lounge.... i get to needing a smoke .reall bad .. I walk around makeing animal noises..to humor me...MOOOO goes the pig...BAAAA goes the chicken... I will submerge myself in a book..i read fast cause im soo tense.. the NIC can be channeled to create something good.. Keeping myself busy.

A hobby..

The effort to quite smokeing has become a hobby to me.. as a distant obstical.. Something that I can challenge..A game more say.. Ciggys have occupied and ran my life.. like a dictator. josh.. i know it is hard.. believe me.. i am stuggling too... i started off pretty strong, and now i have 2 smokers, in my house, which go out side... and the smell stinks bad! Whoa!
i can smell a smoker walk in my front door, when i am in the other room...
take it minute, by minute.. thats all you can do... if you take it minute by minute...it wont be so overwhelming..

Thanks for the kind words. I love working on the ambulance but it sure can be stressful!!(thats where cigs come in) It will be hard to go through an entire 24 hour shift without one! But I am going to try my best. Good luck to you too!

LOL..I like that...it makes me laugh, even though I am supposed to be serious about my breathing...ha ha..so are there times for you that you find things more humorous than usual??
