About Me:: I have been a smoker for 37 yrs. and I'm tired of it. My health is being affected from the yrs. of this nasty addiction and it's time to get rid of it!! I just need some help to get me through this!!! I am married, and a barrelracer on the weekends. During the week, I work for a small animal vet.

The depression is easing off and I am so thankful for that!!!

I don't have the crazy dreams but do wake up during the nite. I just want to get rid of these deadly things!!!

I know chantx has side effects, but i think a lot of my depression was caused by the fact that even while you are chantix even if you are smoking, you are withdrawling from nic....the depression cleared for me the following week. If you have really really deep dark thoughts, then talk to your doc. otherwise blame it on the demon of the addiction and tell yourself, "this is my body getting rid of the monster." remind yourself that you are more than your emotions. :) good luck
