you are in the hardest part but getting it done. nothing or nobabdy said you ahev to do it without nicotine replacement. this is a hard addiction to beat so if it is between giving up and smoking or chewing a bit of nicotine gum, then go chew the gum. don't fool yourself into such junkie thinking that using a nic replacement is worse than smoking. buck up you can do this

Leslie there is only one way to loose a quit. You have to light that cigarette to loose a quit and you have control over whether you light that cigarette even if you won't admit you do.

THE WAY TO WIN. Is to quit and mean it.

And it is very possible. There is no right or wrong way to get through the craves... you do what IT TAKES.

Scream, run, jump, drink water, kick, hurl objects... whatever you have to do to get through the CRAVE you must do it.

That is how you WIN.

I am: One year, three months, two weeks, four days, 20 hours, 19 minutes and 19 seconds. 14245 cigarettes not smoked, saving $3,739.42. Life saved: 7 weeks, 11 hours, 5 minutes.

I was just like you. Addicted.

I am now free. I wish you much success.

What are you gonna do? WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO? You're gonna get your act together and stop being a whimp. Look at all the people on this site who are doin' it. It sucks? No, YOU SUCK on a cigarette. That's YOUR problem. Check out the newbies who are making this work for them. Who haven't given up. Who are determined to be free. Who are doing this one day at a time, one friggin minute at a time. DON'T GIVE IN. DON'T GIVE UP. TRY AGAIN. Yes, it's hard. Life is hard. But you're stronger than the demon. You really are. FIGHT!

addict excuses ...............whats it going to solve ...........just more problems

successful quits = no excuses ..... throw that poison away ....

try something like vics vapor rub under your nose it can help !!

You have to want it worse than anything else .... when the going gets tough .......

Don't let your demons continue to poison you...... get mad at them not the solution .... YOU CAN DO IT -- throw the rest away now and snap out of it .... you are better than this !!

Not sure I can add anything more that hasn't already been said. Quitting sucks no matter how you look at it. What works for one person doesn't always work for the next. There is no right or wrong way to quit smoking. I personally quit using nicotine replacement patches. The main thing is to get your head wrapped around your quit. You've almost made it through the physical withdrawal, so don't give up now. You've gone through the worst part. Hang in there and don't smoke!
