About me
I started to cut back on smokes on the 3rd of February, the day my 3 week vacation started. I went a few days with no more than 3 cigs! That is super good for me...I could suck down two packs during a long day at work if I did it right! serious! Gross, I know, but I did it. Especially when I drove dumptruck on logging roads! I was like a chimney! On a normal day I puff away on a pack easy. I remember my concrete plant days. I would light up before I batched a load of mix. Then again when I would hop in the truck on my way to deliver it and on my way back to the plant. Or I would chain smoke while batching trucks all day....while batching, while running the loader, while setting trucks up, and while waiting to batch another load. Smoke smoke smoke. And I ate a lot of junk. What an unhealty lifestyle. The whole time knowing that I needed to quit. But it was a pattern. A habit. I felt and looked like total crap.
Mornings were my mostest favoritest time to smoke--early in the morning before everyone else got up- while all alone with my coffee before getting ready for my day. ( I smoked on my way to the gym and swimming pool too!) I have been having a tough time with the mornings the most. So, cutting back on coffee and the whole routine of what time I start the pot of brew and when I drink it helped a lot. I now get my lunch ready first, get my gym clothes together and feed my dogs. Then I start my coffee..I really did think I liked the sitting on my butt and smoking in the morning time.... boo hoo. But hack hack cough gag cough..did a lot of that too! And I didn't like that part. Plus, I wasted a lot of time sitting there polluting myself now that I think about it. So, ya...sh*t
