We are not negotiating a group rate. We tried that last year and it was more trouble than it was worth -- they want such a large commitment on the number of rooms, for not much of a discount. Plus, to accommodate people's budgets we're offering multiple hotels this time, making it even harder to meet a minimum to get a group discount.
Take advantage of reward programs, groupons, or whatever other deals you can find! I'm sure we have people who would like to split the cost with a roommate, too!
