Paying the Piper

I have worn a partial on the top for many years.  Of course a few teeth have been added along the way.   I have no dought that smoking for 37 years was the biggest contributor.  I have also been going to comfort dental for a while and they have agreed to do some implants for $2,300 a piece.  Yes this sounds huge but if I can get them done slowly then I can lose this partial.  Wow to be free of it would be amazing.  I had my stitches out yesterday for the initial part of it and the doctor said everything looks wonderful.  Now I have to wait about three months to get the tooth on it.

December will be my two year date for being rid of those nasty things.  My husband had a few beers with his brother a few times and has smoked a few times with it.   It makes me very sad but I know in my heart of hearts I will never pick up another one again.

Nicotine does so much damage in so many ways to your body please get past the urge and hold your quit close to you like your life depends on it.  It does!!
