Over 4 months in on my quit and I can't say that I am out of NML yet.  I still get the occassional craving that seems almost too intense to deal with, but I push on.  I am more concerned with the next challenge that lies ahead: the holidays.  It would be perfect if I didn't have to spend it with family members and in-laws.  Who thought of this?  Hey lets spend time with people we don't like and while we are at it lets buy them presents.  Tack on the crowds in the stores, the cold weather, and the shorter days and it makes you say, "Don't wake me until President's day."  However, I'm still paying for last years season of joy so I better get my butt up and scrap the windows on my car and get to work.  Ba humbug.

About the Author
I am on my one millionth attempt at quitting. I have smoked for well over 15 years. A few years ago I developed a few health problems that gave me some concern but not enough to quit. Finally, my wife gave me an ultimatum; her or the cigarettes. I finally got my head out of you know where on June 2, 2016 and have never looked back.
