Learning life without cigarettes every day is what I have been doing lately.  Going through emotional challenges and working on them without even thinking of smoking is just wonderful. I cried, I have been angry, felt powerless, scared and alone, relieved and happy, but never looked for one or even thought about smoking as being the solution.

It has probably been days since I have not had a crave, and several times/day when I remember I used to smoke with no desire to do it again. When a crave is hitting all it takes is several deep breaths (and are they long and deep these days, and it feels so great to be able to release the air from my lungs, slowly, grounding me more each time).

Still at home, doing all the things recommended by DRs caring for me, I finally fully enjoy life as an EX. And I have every intention to keep it this way, whatever it takes, with all my might!

For all the new starters, please stick with your plan to quit; it is the best decision for your health you can ever make!

Don’t ever question it, don’t ever let the Nicovoices talking you into having “just one”, one never comes alone, it brings the pack, it brings the addiction back.  Many of us have gone through that “just one, or a couple” and ending up in full blown smoker mode.  Please don’t let it be you.

Life it too beautiful to let it be tarnished by killing smoke!!!

Have a wonderful day!
