I use 2mg nicorette gum. I get it free through quitnow. My question is I'm afraid of giving up one addiction for another. Not that I want to go back (heck no!) But I also don't want to catch it when I get off the gum. My quit has been so easy and I think the gum is playing a major role in that! At this point I don't even think I'm asking a real question anymore lol just expressing my fear of coming off the gum or being on it longer than I should. Pricing it in stores it cost much more than I'm willing to pay (thank God for quitnow) but what happens when I exhaust all my free NRT? Will I go through the withdrawals then? Is quitting a pay now and get it over with cold turkey and pay later with NRT? I'm afraid of coming off my NRT but I know one day it has to happen!
