Any body else want it...it's yours for the taking!!
As most of you are aware, I am also a caretaker for my 86 year old mother...the ONLY caretaker. My mom continues to insist on living independently...Well I got a phone call from her neighbor who informed me that the police were at her house at 3 am and 8 am...apparently she heard a cat that sounded like it was in distress. Well isn't that special, and there she is in her nitie, bare feet and walker hobbeling in her yard looking for this 'cat'. Let's just add this to my worry list!!
Already had plans to take her for a pedi, but thought I'd have a little 'visit' with her before we went to our appointment. Thinking of what to say, without giving out my guardian angle source, I decide to tell her the police called me, and they were very upset. So if she calls them again about a cat...she's going to the pokey, and nothing I can do about it. I think that got to her. I have to keep it simple with her, I'm also going to give the dr a call to see if I can drop off a little bottle. .to check if she has a UTI....mental delusions are also a key to a UTI.
It's always something. .proudly didn't smoke...but the temptation and voices were working overtime and with great vengeance...
Happy Friday..going to stay as cool as possible. ..heat and humidty are still lingering on here. Domesticso are complete, so I'll be at the lake, then off to a Margarita festival with a faux Jimmy Buffett band!
