Greeting all!
I have been trying to be consistent in my preparations for my Quit date of September 2. I have received suggestions from folks here and I appreciate every one!
My thinking is changing regarding cigarette smoking, I am beginning to look at the whole addiction differently. I am really starting to believe that I can do this! In my past attempts at quitting I have always wanted to do things very much the same way, every time. This time I am really trying to keep an open mind and not dismiss idea's that I think may be a waste of time. I have to remember quitting smoking is a learning process and that requires a certain amount of trial and error. I think the important thing for me is to be commited to keep trying, to concentrate on the effort not the outcome.
I once heard it said " a thousand mile journey begins with one step" I think that as long as I keep taking the next step I just might be able to acheive what I had convinced myself was impossible.
Again, a great thanks to all who have taken time to write replies and send suggestions!
Thanks for reading!
