DAY 2339 HOW IT WORKED FOR ME.

Quitting one and not the other has been a problem for a lot of people who are trying to become smoke free. In my Quit I did what was suggested on here and I have read a lot of blogs, I followed the step by step guide to QUITTING on BECOMEANEX. While I was tracking my cigarettes, I noticed that I had behaviors linked to my addiction.First let me say that I have been SOBER for 15 years, with that said. Unfortunately for some of us it is harder to put down the cigarettes while we are activly drinking,  I was court ordered to stop drinking I did and I love my life of SOBRIETY.. But I could not kick the smoking I tried at least 3-4 time.. In my 9th year of sobriety I decided to try again. This time  I had come here and found a solution. Alcohol ,Caffine  COFFEE TEA, BEER , I knew that trying to stay sober meant I had to stop certain things like going to bars and start  going to A.A. meetings. The same applies to Smoking I'm not going to a place where I know there will be lots of Smoking and drinking. During the first year of my QUIT I stopped drinking coffee anything with caffine, That was one of the behaviors I noticed . That I would smoke while drinking coffee.  For those of you who Drink Alcohol and don't see the the link to your addiction. Look at your BEHAVIOR while drinking The cravings and urges increas dramatically. If you are struggling with your QUIT and you are a drinker, Try not drinking and see how if that works. I did'nt  mean to bring A.A. into the community, But that's how I got it done. I hope that this helps someone. MAY GOD BLESS US ALL WITH ANOTHER SMOKE FREE DAY.
