You must find your honest center, and I happen to think that the process of doing that here starts long before you actually quit. (None of us started at the center, you see; we all had to work to get there . The same goes for you, too.)
Call it willingness. A willingness to move away from the outer edges, where you were stuck in a loop. Where the old ways were not working. (If they were working so well, you wouldn’t be here now, right?)
When you’ve truly chosen to be at the center of quitting, you must plant your feet firmly on Truth and Commitment (yes, I capitalized them). Without that bedrock, few things can stand. Discover this core within yourself (it’s there!). Believe in it with all your emotional strength, and then stay at the center. Make everything else - everything! - revolve around that focal point. Let all the pop-up surprises flow to you in their due course , and solve them - one by one - with a skilled mind and dedicated heart.
Call it conviction.
Can I say that again? It’s called Conviction. An unshakeable faith in what you’re learning here, and what you’re building here. It’s real, and it can be yours.
In the center of what‘s right and true, you can withstand the course of… anything!
