Hard crave....

Wow last night and today constant crave came from nowhere.  Think I have to say out of all my 41 days of my quit this had to be close to the worse crave I have experienced yet. I started having several good days in a row with no cravings or urges. Maybe I was getting to comfortable as a non-smoker.  So Mr. Nico demon dude caught me off guard and taught me that NML is no joke and need to bring out the suit of armor and keep my tools sharpened to be ready for next battle. With each battle I will become stronger and defeat this dude. Ha plus I have the numbers on my side. Lol.  Will say I stayed busy and used old tools and new tools.  Plug, have to say I enjoyed drawing my version of Mr. Nico dude, mind you can’t draw a bit but sure did give me a good laugh today. I also beat the heck out of that pillow and boy did it help relieve some frustration.   I used all your suggestions and words of wisdom to get me through this day.  @Terri going to get that coloring book tomorrow.  Giulia good thing they closed the convenient store cig doors.  I had to go to rehab this morning and had the fear of talking myself into stopping.  So I did not take any money debit or credit cards.  So I took that temptation away.  Hehe yay!!!  I really do appreciate each and every one for the help, support, love and encouragement you showed me to help get me through this craziness. Still having some cravings but they have lessened up. By staying busy, talking to myself and saying NOPE!!!! (while do jumping jacks), SINAO, and I don’t do that anymore, visualized holding hands with my daily pledge partners Terri and Joyce ( hope I didn’t squeeze to hard).

So bottom line this is my commitment and will do whatever it takes to keep it.  Stay strong, stay determined, stay busy, stay vigilant and watch your back and your quit the nicodemon dude is lurking, use the tools given.  Elders always said craves have never killed anyone well today I am living proof as I survived that madness.

A big thank you for your help

Hi! My name is Sharon and I am married, a mom to 5 kids and also have 2 fur babies that are both shelties and considered my kids. I have smoked for about 30 years. I came here to learn how to quit and stay quit. I need to quit to impove my health and was tired of nicotine controlling me and Doctors and family nagging me. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. Now that I have joined in the EX family I now have been free of nicotine since May 13th 2016.
