Feeling a bit anxious

Up to this point in my quit I have avoided being around smokers.  This is my first holiday and family event as a non-smoker.  Tomorrow we have a big family and friends celebration for Memorial Day as well as it is my granddaughters 21st birthday.and Step daughters birthday too. So copping out on this event is not an option. There will be lots of alcohol and lots of smokers there.  Not worried about the alcohol as much as I am about being around smokers. I am afraid once I get a big wift of smoke the nicodemon will be lurking and will I be able to control the urges.  I may just be anticipating the worse but want to be prepared.  I know I have good tools in my tool box and hoping I am strong enough to use them. Of course tomorrow is suppose to rain here. If it don't rain party will be outside and least easier to get away from smoke.  If it rains the party goes inside and that really makes me nervous. I will not be able to blog during it as for some reason my phone won't let me enter blogs.  It gives me an error message when I blog.  Any extra added tips, thoughts or suggestion for me to think about?  Thanks and hope everyone has a wonderful holiday weekend.

Hi! My name is Sharon and I am married, a mom to 5 kids and also have 2 fur babies that are both shelties and considered my kids. I have smoked for about 30 years. I came here to learn how to quit and stay quit. I need to quit to impove my health and was tired of nicotine controlling me and Doctors and family nagging me. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. Now that I have joined in the EX family I now have been free of nicotine since May 13th 2016.
