Share your quitting journey
I hope this mornings blog doesn't dissappear like yesterday's but I can't do anything about it if it does other than scream and stomp my feet like a toddler, it's a dark dreary day in the Maritimes this morning which matches my mood but thankfully I have no desire to smoke, the only time I think about a cigarette is when I'm on this site and that's because I along with many others that stay here want everyone to EXperience the Freedom and enjoy life without the crutch of the dreaded nicotine poison, there's life after cigarettes so if you are struggling hang on tight and if you haven't quit yet now is the time, there's many precious folks on this site that needs our prayers right now, I don't need to mention names because God knows and most of you know so let's send up EXtra good thoughts for them and maybe add my 52 yr old sister that's two and a half hrs away in the hospital, she's going in for a five hr neck surgery on her disc's to hopefully get some mobility back on her hands and legs. I wish I could be there for my sister but I am having my own issues and she'll probably sleep around the clock for a day or two but I'm hoping to get down to see her over the weekend or Monday, then she should be more alert. When we're getting ready for bed tonight, let's smile and say yay another day WON because by quitting smoking and remaining quit, we've taken ourlives back which is the smartest decision that anyone of have ever made in our lifetime.
