Back home again. Son only has 1 appointment next week and husband has 2, should be able to stay home this coming week and run them to their appointments from home. It will be a lot of driving but it will be ok as long as I miss that slow moving traffic. Husband has been smoke free now for 4 weeks, yesterday he was trying to tell me that he knows he can never smoke again if he wants to live but having a ½ or even a whole cigarette every now and then isn't smoking. Good grief. Addiction.
I am still enjoying my smoke free days even amongst these challenging days. Not having to have smoking follow me everywhere I go is such a relief. No more freaking out if I forgot the smokes or forgot the lighter. Not having to worry about sitting next to someone because I stink of smoke. Not have to worry when will I be able to have my next smoke. Ever so freeing. Well worth all the reading, the learning to do things differently, learning to do new things, did I tell you I put a greenhouse kit together and it is still standing today, yes it is!
Take the time to educate yourself, read blogs, write blogs. Make smoking not an option no matter what. Don't listen to what my husbands says, ½ or whole cigarette now and then is not a quit. He knows it, part of him wants to find an excuse to have a cigarette but the part of him that know best what he needs knows it is just the addiction talking.
More medical bills waiting for me when I got home and I didn't get upset, proud of me! But I must say the damage caused by smoking is very expensive. I'm just saying...
Stay smoke free. Be healthy. Keep the body moving.
