Although making late blog entry since its after midnight and officially in 3 rd but thought I would share. To start the day I rechanged my morning routine a bit.  Instead of waking and going for a smoke, I made coffee, fed my 2 dogs, drank a cup of cup while playing champs which helped take mind off of smoking.  Managed to detour 1st smoke by 30 min.  Had couple of appointments which took most morning and early afternoon.  Then spent the day reading blogs and read Alan Carr easy quit smoking.  Wow lots of reading and education but have noticed I have focused more on reading than smoking today.  Usuallly smoke at least a pack a day and smoked 13 cigarettes.  Thanks to all of you for suggested readings they are very informative.  My goal is to do better at tracking my cigarettes and triggers seem to have problems tracking every cigerette and trigger.  Thanks for the encouragement  🙂

Hi! My name is Sharon and I am married, a mom to 5 kids and also have 2 fur babies that are both shelties and considered my kids. I have smoked for about 30 years. I came here to learn how to quit and stay quit. I need to quit to impove my health and was tired of nicotine controlling me and Doctors and family nagging me. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. Now that I have joined in the EX family I now have been free of nicotine since May 13th 2016.
