One Word is all You Need

Morning everyone,

So, what you may be asking, is the one word? The word is "No!" This word is all you need to quit smoking. Simple by design, yes. Easy to do, no. You have to retrain your mind to say no every single time you have a craving. Get up in the morning, NO! Drive to work, NO! Go on lunch break, NO! Drive home, NO! Well, you get the idea. Next, you have to face and defeat your triggers. It is tough in the beginning, but eventually, after several days of saying no things do get easier. All you have to do is remember this one word, and use it when the urge strikes. Look at it this way, what is easier to do when a craving hits? Option 1 - say no, end of conversation. Don't say no, and allow the nicodemon to get into your head and start an argument that lasts for days! JUST SAY NO!!!  Wishing everyone continued success on their quit, and if you can say no, there is a whole new life waiting for you! I'm at 320 days quit ( or something like that) and I feel AWESOME!

I quit smoking on March 26th, 2009. I smoked a pack a day for 25 years. I quit because I began having health issues in my early 40's. I had a TIA and a stroke a few years ago. I work as a home delivery salesperson.
