I Can't Think of a Title.

Hello all! So I'm almost at 1 year. ONE YEAR!  This is amazing.  What's also amazing is the level of insane cravings I've been having.  Further proof and explanation why this is a fight that won't just "Go away" ... I truly believe I'll be fighting this one for life but it's definitely worth it.  That "Somethings missing" feeling is still sticking around and I keep punching it down but it still creeps up once in a while.  And I know you have to go through a few seasons and whatnot.. maybe it's all this snow we're having and being trapped inside.

Apartment smokers update:  Used to be 4 and now it's 2!  I quit, then my neighbor quit after hearing my story.  I think his fiance is the next to go but the last one will be tough but it's his journey to discover.

Also, a co worker who quit because of serious health concerns has started again.  I feel so bad for him and also a little mad and dissapointed.  I know it's not my place to judge so I just watch from afar and hope he gets on the right track again.

Does anyone else think it's annoying when someone says "You are always getting sick!" I mean, yes, I do get sick a lot but since I quit smoking, i haven't had one bought of bronchitus or a cough.  It's been regular, normal colds with a running nose and it's wonderful.  I go to the doctor and he says "Your lungs sound good" and I sigh with relief and admiration for my strong will and my quit.  So when someone says that to me I feel like it's a failure in some way like they think I don't take care of myself...I mean, they don't know my struggle. I'm not one of those people that gets offended easily but that really bothered me.

Lots of random thoughts I'm having today...

Good luck everyone..If I can almost make it to one year.. you can do this!

Megan
