Had the test/shots done today. What they do is to numb the area giving shots in 4 different spots on 1 side of my neck. I had to track how long the pain stayed away (due to it being numb) and it was about 6 - 7 hours. Since it worked I will go back on the 15th and they will do it again with a different type of injection. If that works the same (numbness for a period of time) then they will do an authorization to my insurance to do the actual treatment. Which is giving me sedation, burning the nerves on the 1 side. That could give me relief for anywhere from 6 months to several years. That is only for the 1 side......they cannot do both sides at once. I'll have to decide after I have the first if I want to do the 2nd.
Sis decided roads were too slippery so she cancelled dr appt and I didn't have to drive her anywhere (yeah!)
Kiko is still the same. I give him water via the syringe and he has gone to drink on his own a couple of times but no potty! I will call right at 8 this morning and see about getting him in right away.
Poor baby is so good and I feel so bad. He doesn't seem to be in pain but just lethargic.
OK....thanks for all the prayers for both of us....... Please keep up more for Kiko!
I have to go and fire up the Freedom Train for the run this morning. Hoping to have a fun ride.
