I am a nurse as most of the oldies know and work in Long Term Care. Recently I recieved a very young resident who has suffered a severe stroke, feeding tube , the works. Day after day in my care of this sweet lady I noticed a horrible odor in her room. I thought it was old stale cigarette smoke but didn't realize until I investigated it was in fact a recliner from her home. It reeked of stale cigarette smoke. At that point (duh) I looked further into her history,, yes now the stroke made sense. She smoked most of her adult life.
Many Many good reasons to quit ,,sooner the better.
