Will Never Forget

It has been a little over 1 and  a half years since I posted on this site.  To all of you new or fairly new to this site, I will never forget how much I was helped here.  I had quit 5 months prior to joining this site.  I was so sick of smoking and went it alone.  I was really struggling when I joined and am so glad I did.  Needless to say I am now quit a little of 3 years.  I quit 1-8-13 and have never had even one puff from a cigarette.  I don't miss cigarettes one bit either.  I met many friends here and many who were willing to help me keep my quit.

Quitting and staying quit is hard at times, but can be done.  I smoked for 44 years and tried many many times to quit.  I think I failed because I had no type of real support and I never educated myself.

Always remember you can come to this site as often as you like, and it will really help.  If you keep your quit, you will never regret it and life REALLY is better.

My quit began in 2013 after 44 years smoking. I retired from Law Enforcement in 2017 after 27 years. Loving my retirement and being smoke free!
