Hi family!
I haven't been here in quite a while but rest assured you have all been on my mind. Congratulations to all the new quitters and those who have hit new milestones. You are on your way to something truly wonderful.
I felt the need to lean on these shoulders here for some comfort. This is the place of unconditional acceptance and love. So here is what's going on:
The Agent I work for did me a "favor" (as he calls it) on December 30. This was the day before a long New Years Eve weekend I had been looking forward to. He announced to me that he thought he would warn me and that I should start looking for another job. That's it - no details. I've heard a whole lot of nothing since. Let me tell you it has been 3 weeks of gut wrenching torture. I spent New Year's Eve in bed because I was so depressed. I've had this job for over 7 years. He has tried his darndest to convince me that his daughter was not hired to replace me but I am SO not buying it. It is entirely possible the ax is going to fall tomorrow. I'm 57 and finding new work will be difficult at best. At this point Las Vegas is off the agenda.
Please send prayers and positive things out for me - I really need it. Thank you so much! I love you all!
