China, here we come!

I am still here & thinking of all my EX family here. I have been so incredibly busy cleaning out my parent's home (my childhood home). We did finally get a sale on it & close next week. I have been selling their contents, that didn't sell at the 2 estate sales we had, thru various sites. It has been real tough seeing my parent's beautiful things going out the door. I have gotten thru all this with no urge to smoke whatsoever! I am very proud of that beause it would be so easy to just give in to the emotional "need" to smoke, but I know it would not make my grieving any easier. We leave for China this coming Thursday & will stay with our son & his family for a month. We are so excited to finally get to meet our new granddaughter & get to see our grandson who we miss very much. I will fill you in upon our return. Until then, I want to encourage all you newbies out there to hang in there. I have been where you are, but don't give in. You will be so very happy to not be a smoker ever again in your life. It opens up a whole new world for you to not have to smoke! Love you all, & even though I haven't been on here very much lately, doesn't mean you are not close to my heart & a very important group of friends who have made a big difference in my life with all your support!
